I couldn’t agree more with everyone else out there loving Youth To The People right now. I first spotted Youth To The People at Sephora and couldn’t wait to get my hands on some of their products. What caught my attention was their packaging.. re-useable and recyclable, huge bold font, simple and to the point. I also adore their sustainable, clean, product range – they keep it simple and to the point with face cleanser, sleeping mask, Hyaluronic acid serum, eye cream, moisturizers and the newest edition – face mist. What more do you need in a routine ? Actually wait… they need an SPF, then it’s complete ?.
The first product I’ve ever tried from them was their Superfood Cleanser. Which since the first time, I’ve repurchased this face wash several times, including mini sizes for travel ! I love the gel formula and how it lathers on the skin. It have combo skin, and it doesn’t dry me out. I would recommend this to anyone really.
The next couple of products I scooped up from YTTP was their Superberry Glow Oil and the Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream. This is the set that I purchased so I could try both at a discounted rate. The oil smells like a dream and absorbs quickly into the skin. It’s not a greasy oil at all. It’s actually very lightweight and contains lots of antioxidants & omegas. All that good stuff that happy skin needs. The Moisture Cream is also very lightweight and has this refreshing cooling sensation once applied to the skin. It’s great for a combo skin person like myself, and would be great for all you oily folks out there too.
I couldn’t wait to finish up some of my other eye creams so I could try their Superfood Peptide Eye Cream. This has been a go-to of mine for awhile now and I can’t believe I’m almost out of it ! It looked like it would be too thick for the eye area, but it’s surprisingly very lightweight, smoothing and fast absorbing around the eye area. You only need a small dab for both eyes – a little goes a very long. I love that this eye cream has added peptides, phytonutrients and vitamins too..so it’s a bit more than just an eye moisturizer.
The last and most recent product I’ve tried from YTTP is their Superberry Hydrate and Glow Dream Mask. The moment this product came out I knew I needed to try it. It’s an overnight mask that contains a stable form of Vitamin C called THD Ascorbate. Having a stable form of Vitamin C packed into this sleeping mask means the formula wont expire before I’m finished using it. I’ve had products in the past that contain pure forms of Vitamin C called L-ascorbic acid and this form of vitamin C needs to be used up quickly before it becomes rancid. Products that I have used in the past that contain this form of Vitamin C usually expire before I can finish them. I think, correct me if I’m wrong but, the only proper way to use L-ascorbic acid properly would be to buy it powdered and then mix it in with other skincare products. I’ve heard that can cause a gritty feeling when applying it to the skin. Anyway.. I do really love the way my skin feels in the morning after using this sleeping mask. I always look so glowy, plumped, rehydrated and fresh faced. If you don’t want to mess with crazy Vitamin C formulas, but maybe you’re looking for that glow, give this a shot. Seriously.
I couldn’t be happier with the products I’ve tried from Youth To The People. They have been one of my favorite brands not only from last year, but this year too. I can’t wait to get my hands on their new Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Mist ! You can’t go wrong with a good ol mist.
What have you tried from Youth To The People ? Or, what’s on your wish list ?
