Cruelty-Free Skincare Shopping in Toronto

Hola friends. I recently went to Toronto and did a good amount of shopping! I visited the Deciem store and Province Apothcary for the first time. I also came across a Biossance pop-up store in the Distillery District and scored some free samples!

Deciem: The Abnormal Beauty Company

Guys, I was blown away when I walked into this Deciem. I absolutely loved the layout and adored the way they displayed the products. Everything looked so presentable and organized. Who would’ve thought that beauty products displayed on white scaffolds on fake green grass could look so pleasing? After exploring the store I purchased the No Brainer Set. It includes The Buffet (Muti-Technology Peptide Serum), Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (a moisturizer) and Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (a PM retinoid) and I also purchased the Full Coverage foundation in the shade 1.2N. All the products I purchased are of course, cruelty-free & vegan!

Province Apothecary
1518 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6K 1T5, Canada

Province Apothecary was on the top of my Toronto-skincare-stores-that-I-need-to-visit list. Ever since I tried a product from them in my Petit Vour subscription box a couple months back.. I decided I needed to try more from this vegan, cruelty-free, plant based brand. The store was tiny, but just the right size and oh so adorable. I really enjoyed the style of the store – their blue packaged products were displayed with many earthy textures like rocks, marble trays, stones and lots of green plants. After playing around with some products, I ended up purchasing the Try Me Kit for Normal/Dry Skin and the wonderful lady who cashed me out also gave me many many other samples to try. I can’t wait to explore all that Province Apothecary has, who knows, I could find another skincare favorite !

Stay tuned for several reviews on some of these goodies. I can’t wait to share my thoughts in a future video or blog post.

Also, let me know what you guys might want a more in-depth review on in the comments.

Talk soon,
-Alicia !
