It’s easy to say that I am addicted to these frozen, delicious, colorful, tasty bowls.
And I can’t stop making them.
So, today I wanted to share my easy, go-to recipe, so you can make them at home too and become just as addicted.
One of my favorite things about acai bowls is that you can really just do just about whatever you want, but the main ingredient is the acai. So for that, I like to use the Sambazon frozen acai which you can find at your local natural food market. Or you can check your local grocery store to see if they carry it.

The rest is up to you on what else you want to add. But, I usually blend in frozen berries, a fresh or frozen banana and water! Check out my recipe below.
What you’ll need:
- 2 Sambazon Frozen Acai Packets
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 Cup (or more!) of frozen berries
- About 1/4 Cup of water or apple juice
Toppings:
- Hemp seeds
- Ground flax seeds
- Chia seeds
- Shredded coconut
- Sliced fresh strawberries
- Diary-free chocolate chips
- Granola (I don’t usually add this, but you can if you want!)
- Agave to taste
All you have to do is blend the ingredients together until as smooth as possible and then add the toppings! That’s it.
Pro tip – I don’t have the best blender in the world. And if you don’t either, I recommend placing the frozen acai packets under cool running water for a 30 seconds or so. Then try to break up the frozen acai in the packet before cutting it open and dropping it into the blender. That way it’s easier for the blender the blend.
Hope you guys enjoy ! Let me know if you plan on making a delicious acai bowl at home. Or link me to your favorite smoothie bowl recipes.
