My thoughts on the Jaclyn Hill Palette ? Absolutely loving it. I have yet to play around with every single color to be honest, but the colors I have are some of my favorites so far. They blend SO nicely with minimal to no fall out. The shadows are very buttery and soft. There are so many textures from shimmers to mattes to glitters to satins & foils. I cannot wait to come up with more tutorials and looks.
I have a couple negatives which I did mention in the video. But in case you just want a quick little info session, my negatives were: one.. I didn’t get the card with names on it that other people received. I was reading that several people didn’t get the card with the names on it. Super bummed about that. My second negative has to do with the names too, I wish they were printed on the packaging under the shadows. It would just be helpful for tutorials, plus Jaclyn took the time to name all of the colors so I would have loved to know what they were called ! Some people complained that they didn’t like the cardboard packaging. I totally understand where they are coming from because it will get dirty, there is no doubt about that. But, I honestly don’t care about the packaging that much, I care about what’s inside the packaging. Also, if they went all extra and fancy, the cost of the palette would be way more !
Thinking about getting the palette ? If you want it, get it. It’s beautiful and I’m very happy with it. It’s $38 dollars before shipping. You can use a discount code to get about $4 dollars off (I used Jaclyn’s code), and depending where you live (U.S speaking only) shipping will be roughly $7 dollars. At the moment it is currently sold out, but I think if you sign up for the emails on the Morphe website they will let you know when it’s back in stock. Probably very soon I’m guessing.
If you have any questions about the palette, shipping, etc.. leave them in the comments and I’ll try and answer them for you ! Thanks !
