Hey everyone ! So these are just some of my recent travel beauty essentials. These would all fit in a small make up bag that I could bring in my carry-on or even fit in my purse ! Of course I’m missing some other favorites in this picture, including my lip balm ! Right now I’m using Hurraw! Mint Lip Balm.
My Giovanni mini shampoo, conditioner and lotion are all from a previous hotel stay. I was so surprised to see them in the hotel room! I stocked up as much as possible.. but I think I only have a couple mini bottles left. Giovanni is currently my favorite shampoo and conditioner brand. I have full size bottles at home. The scent is cucumber and it just smells oh so refreshing. These travel sizes are also just so cute!
Schmidt’s is a new brand of deodorant that I’ve been trying out ! This is extremely travel friendly and tiny ! You apply it using your finger tips & I know.. it’s different than using a stick deodorant. It takes a little bit of getting used to.. but keeps me feeling fresh and dry all day. All of their deodorants are vegan & natural.
Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done has been a go to of mine for a month or so now. I love that it gives me the sun protection I need and also gives me light coverage. I also love the packaging. It’s a squeezey bottle but also has a pump. Makes it perfect for on the go.
Smashbox Studio Skin Waterproof Concealer hydrates my under eye area while also covering up any imperfections, including dark circles. It blends easily with a beauty sponge or finger tips. It doesn’t feel heavy or cakey and doesn’t crease !
I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to set my foundation and concealer. I hate the sticky-ness of foundations and concealer when they are not set. I like my face to feel smooth & soft… this powder does just that. I’ve been using this powder as an all over face powder for many years and it doesn’t make my face look cakey or too over done.
To complete my look on the go, I like to use Tarte’s Light’s Camera Lashes Mascara. This mascara doesn’t clump up my lashes or smudge. I like that this mascara also conditions my lashes. They don’t feel crunchy after application. The small travel size is great for on the go and I can just throw this in my purse.
So what’s my favorite thing about every single one of these products ?! They’re cruelty-free*
*update 2017 – Rimmel is not cruelty-free. I was under the impression that they were for years. I will no longer be purchasing from Rimmel.
