So this is a very simple household fix that I’ve actually been using for years in my apartments. It’s perfect – especially if you have a small kitchen and want some pretty wall decor! Not to mention, it’s a lot cheaper than buying a $50 – $100 pot rack at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
All you’ll need:
- Some kind of coat rack or two. Mine are metal, but I’m sure wood would work fine, use your best judgement!
- Stud finder
- Drill and long screws
- Use the stud finder to find the wall studs. By using the wall studs to hold the rack on the wall, you’ll know it will be secure and won’t come crashing down in the middle of the night to scare the crap out of you.
- Have a friend help you hold up the rack while you’re drilling the screws in. It makes the job a lot easier.
- If you have an iPhone, open the compass app and swipe to the left, you’ll see the handy leveling ruler which will help making sure your rack is leveled!
Now get to hanging!
