I have a new-to-me vegan brand I wanted to share with y’all today ✨ Dr. Loretta ✨
These adorable minis are a part of Dr. Loretta’s Discovery Set and I absolutely love when brands create sets like this. I’ve consistently expressed to y’all how incredibly useful minis are. It gives you an opportunity to see if you like the product and how to performs on your skin w/o committing to a full-size AND potentially wasting product if you don’t like it !
I’ve been testing out these minis over the last month and here are some thoughts:
Gentle Hydrating Cleanser – I am pretty picky when it comes to cleansers and this one checks all the boxes for me. It’s a gel formula, little goes a long way, nice froth, leaves my skin feeling immediately refreshed …not tight and/or dry after rinsing. Contains soothing and hydrating ingredients. Overall, super impressed.
Anti-Aging Repair Serum w/ Vitamin C – This is a beautiful, creamy, Vitamin C serum. It contains 3% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (vitamin c), marine algae extracts, and lilac stem cells (to support collagen and balance the skin). My combo skin loves this serum. It absorbs quickly and I love the dewy glow after application.
Intense Replenishing Serum – I can see why this serum is an award winner. It’s made to prime, soothe and protect the skin with its thicker, velvet-like texture. It’s formulated with Lipochroman® (very powerful antioxidant to fight premature damage), glycolipids, and vitamin E & F. It leaves my skin feeling plumped and lookin’ dewy. Dr. Loretta also states this can be used on your hair to give it a boost of shine. Haven’t tried that yet tho !
Resurfacing Enzyme Polish – I prefer chemical exfoliants in my routine and don’t really reach for the physical ones, but I was really curious about this. I really like the texture… the base of the polish is a very soft, creamy texture, almost reminds me of a cleansing balm, but not. And the bits are very fine feeling, almost nonexistent. It contains Niacinamide and panthenol to plump skin. I only use this about once a week and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. My skin is left feeling hella soft and smooth.
Tightening Detox Mask – This is a very unique mask to have in my collection. It’s a clear, gel formula that can be used either as a 20 minute treatment or an overnight skin boosting mask. It works by ultra hydrating and moisturizing the skin and in result… fine lines (and some deeper lines) look less defined and more plump. I consistently checked my skin in the mirror while wearing this as a 20 min plumping mask. And I noticed my smile lines along with center eyebrow lines don’t look so prominent 👏 👏 👏 They looked softened and plumped.
