Sun Fruit by Ellis Brooklyn takes me back to a lively campground in the small town of Mulegé, BCS, Mexico. Our campervan was parked surrounded by banana, mango, avocado, and other citrus trees.. their branches alive with all kinds of birds. Just outside the grounds, a live band played ‘La Chona’ by the river, filling the air with music💃 .. as we settled in for a few nights, enjoying hot showers and the not so reliable WiFi 🥲.. all just before one last visit to our favorite nearby beach.
I love how scent can transport you anywhere … this scent is like sun-ripened fruit glowing in the morning Mexican light, musky florals wrapped in tropical amber warmth. A not too sweet, balanced, transforming scent.
Top: Bergamot(my absolute favorite), pear, plum leaves, fresh fig
Heart: Jasmine, cyclamen, orris, orange blossom
Base: Amber, vanilla planifolia, musks, shaved coconut
Some say it’s similar to Phlur’s Soft Spot and Skylar’s Nude Skin, which I haven’t smelled yet.
So if you’re craving a scent that captures the magic of golden fruit, warm breezes, and spontaneous joy—Sun Fruit by Ellis Brooklyn might just be your passport. For me, it’s more than a fragrance; it’s a memory bottled up, ready to wear whenever I want to revisit that little campground in Mexico.
